BAND BIO

Since their formation in 2019, Goodnight Vincent have always felt at home on stage and a warm fondness towards the road. With over 160 shows behind them all over the UK and Ireland, Goodnight Vincent have built a growing reputation for their unique, high-energy performances. Based around an indie-rock blueprint, Goodnight Vincent continue to personalise and redefine their shows by incorporating scintillating saxophone, lush and rich harmonies, personal and hard-hitting lyrics, and far too much dodgy dancing. Their music has been played on over 70 radio stations around the world, demonstrating the band's ability to win over audiences wherever they venture.
In August 2023, Goodnight Vincent released their debut EP 'Don't Lose Your Soul' to critical acclaim, international coverage both on radio and in music publications. They were invited by British music store extraordinaire HMV to play shows at several locations around the UK, and even to have the EP stocked within those stores. The EP itself was almost completely crowdfunded by friends, family and fans of the band, which allowed it to sound bigger and better than previous singles. The band will be intending to return to studio over the next few months to go one step further and produce a full album.
Goodnight Vincent are inspired by a whole host of wonderful musicians including The Gaslight Anthem, Pet Needs, Nick Cave, Frank Turner, The Weakerthans, Counting Crows, Skinny Lister, The Beatles, Richard Thompson, Frightened Rabbit, Biffy Clyro, Bob Dylan, HIM, and music that shaped our own individual childhoods.
Goodnight Vincent have had the opportunity to play alongside or on the same festival bill as such amazing artists as Dave Hemingway (The Beautiful South), Shanghai Treason, Jess Silk, Skinny Lister, Tensheds, Harrison Rimmer, Fraser Morgan, Blue Violet, Caitlin Mae, and Daisy Chute.
Goodnight Vincent are happy to play wherever the gig may be - drop us a line if you want us for your event!
