Neverland

You’re born, and isn’t it so great?
A gift or so they say
You’ll take the world by storm.
You’ll grow into a man someday,
And then you’ll find your place,
To work and procreate.
But a boy finds it hard...
To find himself 
And so he has a lark
And wouldn’t leave the house 
If it were burning down.

You know you’re aging but you’re not growing up
You know you’re falling though you won’t hit the ground
And it’s been long enough,
When are you going to make a change?
Or give it up and fade away.

Growing older and I’ll never understand
How I’m still stuck in Neverland.
